One thing that REALLY bothered me by the end of the show is that they never really coherently explained alicorns. Theres so many questions I don’t know where to start. How are ponies turned into alicorns? We can guess its from creating a new type of magic I guess? Throughout the shows run I was kinda hoping they’d add more. Like you know how cultures create their own legends to explain how nature functions (like how the sun and moon move b/c of Celestia and Luna)? It would have been cool if they went that route. Imagine an alicorn that changes the seasons so the ponies don’t have to worry about that anymore (no clue where twilight would fit in with that tho).

And also it was never explained how Flurry Heart exists since apparently no pony had ever been born an alicorn before that point. Did Cadence use a powerful spell or what?
