I kinda miss Horse Isle 2. Three was fun in its own way, but two felt more developed. There were plenty of npcs and meaningful quests and so many hidden secrets to find throughout the world, encouraging heavy exploration. Not to say theres none of that in HI3 but it really isn’t as thought out or intricate as HI2. HI3 still has findables and they’ve added epics but the problem with epics is that once they get discovered by anyone, thats it. That one player collects the loot you get from discovering it and thats literally it. You can still stumble across it, but its no longer special in any way.

The breeding system is amazing tho. So much potential variety and possibilities its crazy. Horses actually do have different shapes, sizes and colors unlike in past games where they were all pallet swaps

Another thing: The developers and mods of the game were found to be really homophobic. So homophobic that they barred ANY talks about relationships when someone called them out on how people weren’t alloyed to talk about lgbt relationships but were allowed to talk about straight relationships. I watched someone in the chat get their comment deleted live after correcting someones use of pronouns so I know somethings messed up. It was so weird because the character customization was so… gender. It was all sliders instead of picking a binary. I thought the devs were based when the game released.
