Idk how to feel about Sunny Day Jack being released in episodes. Part of the fun of VNs is your choices affecting the overall plot. If they can’t program it to keep up with the players choices from chapter to chapter, they might as well just turn it into a stagnant book.

I am getting a bit nervous about SDJ because I’m hearing about a lot of stuff going wrong behind the scenes. They lost their publisher b/c it was too much stuff for them to deal with and even the creator of the character left. Updates on the progress are a little sparse. The patron updates are always about some other games they’re working on and like idc about that other stuff rn I’d rather them focus on SDJ. I understand that the people working on it my be struggling with things or can’t always work on the game, but I also perfectly fine with them pushing back the release date as needed. I’ve got plenty to do in the meantime and will check it out when it comes out.
