That was inspired by a long youtube vid about the over sexualization of female characters in games and of course it missed the mark because it was more focused on telling the women they were just being silly (in many words meant to seem smart). I also remembered an old clip on youtube of the late Stan Lee roasting tf out of Rob Liefield for design a typical 90s male character with zero thought (big muscles, always in tough guy mode, useless details, etc) put into it. He was asking stuff you wouldn’t think of like “How did they get dressed/ undressed? How long would it take to put all that on?”. And Stan Lee was right. Liefield hand waved it off as “you’re not supposed to think about that” but thats incredibly lazy and speedrun to a shit design.
“Who is this character/ whats their personality/ what kind of world do they live in/ how would they get dressed in this and why” are good questions to ask when you design female characters too.
