Just re watched season 1 of Invincible and in hindsight people were way too hard on Amber. She just doesn’t tolerate bullshit from anyone including Mark and he learned to respect that. But her no bullshit personality would’ve gotten a white woman character torn apart, theres no hope for a black woman character written like this. I don’t think its the fault of the writers, really the only thing I’d change is adding a scene where she gives Mark an opportunity to come clean about his identity and he blows it. But yea, complaints about this character were just so over blown.
