So I just joined this browser based game called Lioden. Its mostly a pet sim where you play as a wild lion. It’s more grounded, the art style is more realistic and there isn’t a lot of surrealism like other pet games. Its not super realistic and gritty, theres plenty of light goofiness though out the game. I just so happened to join the game during the poacher event. And as part of the event, you’ll run into various poacher related scenarios. Sometimes you’re attacking or chasing off poachers, sometimes you’ll see dead and mutilated animals while exploring the wilderness. They do give you the option to turn it off if you don’t want to run into that. They didn’t tell you they’d show *This*

This shit just popped up on the page without warning. This game decided to go hardcore on the anti poacher message. This is pretty horrifying! The elephant’s carved face and her sad little abandoned baby next to her like goddamn. The herd was nearby enough that I could nudge the baby in its direction at least. Little bros gotta eat all its elephant food and grow big and strong so it can get revenge.

Granted, by this point in the game I’ve been the cause of numerous poacher deaths both directly and indirectly. And I may have eaten a human leg. Then I manged to start a fight with a jeep and got run over multiple times. The points is this game goes hard.
