I see a certain horror movie fandom getting dragged for enjoying misogynist slop and trying to drag Saw down with them. I just gotta say keep Saw out of you gd mouths. Even the 7th movie isn’t as misogynistic at the female torture fest. Unlike a lot of tacky horror movies, Saw makes if well under stood that *anyone* can wake up in a trap. Doesn’t matter you’re race or gender, or orientation or age. And I’ll give them credit, men are just as likely to die horrifically drawn out deaths in the Saw series.

In all seriousness, bringing up Saw or other chill horror movies only makes sense if you think the only complain is that female characters die. Thats clearly not what people were talking about. You can kill female characters, it just gets weird when you’re fetishizing it and people are allowed to call it out. I’m getting tired of people putting nasty stuff in their media, then hiding behind “it humor!” “its horror!” “its victim representation!”. If you’re going to be bold enough to put in your bigotries and fetishes, you might as well own that shit and stop being a coward.
