People need to know that not everything is even worth your time. Sometimes a piece of media should be viewed as the equivalent of a toddler randomly smacking piano keys, ok. Like the media will try to gaslight into thinking its more than it is, the fandom will try to gaslight you into thinking its more than it is, but your own senses tell you its hollow bullshit. And to be clear, theres a difference between a fandom that knows the original source material is shit and meme on it/ write improvements and a fandom thats making up a new reality.
