How do you avoid customer freakouts

Just dealt with a dipshit having a meltdown because he had a question that could only be answered by someone in a different section so I directed him to the attendant of that section. Then he just kept demanding that I help him and its like- dude I am pointing you towards the person that can help you with this. I cannot. If I try to, I will give misinfo and you’ll get angry about THAT.

I’ve had guys get angry at me because they can’t show up 5 mins before closing and hold everything up. A guy flipped out because I told him he couldn’t just come here and drop “30 bottles of piss” in our trash. Seriously there needs to be something said about this bullshit entitlement. If they’re like this over something this inconsequential, imagine having to live around theses fuckheads.
