I don’t think they want a brony audience for Wild Mane. I’m sure the bronies were a pr nightmare back in the height of mlp gen 4. Its probably why gen 5 is nothing like gen 4 they don’t want a repeat of the weirdness and make no mistake people were weird af. Well, theres no basis for this other than vibes ig. They did dangle gen 4 in front of everyone before forgetting about it. But the recent horse shows are legit made for kids with nothing to get out it if you’re older (characters/ plot way too simple to be interesting and hardly any lore for one) and that *could* be on purpose.

Tho even though it was the fandom that was terrible, I’m sure a lot of the fuckery has reflected badly on the brand for a lot of people. Mlp isn’t a small indie brand I’m sure they want it here for a hundred years.
