**dumb ramble incoming** Ok so I downloaded Love and DeepSpace to see what the controversy was about and people are dumb as shit. Maybe its because I’m in the early game, but this game is a nothing burger. I have no clue why people were attacking it. I say this as someone that occasionally posts nsfw art: this game is mild af. To put it in more perspective, I have every canon nude drawing of Sunny Day Jack (… and that one pic of Ian) both printed and digital- Love and DeepSpace is never going that far. At least I’d be surprised if they did. Maybe we’ll see the guys shirtless in a towel but we aint seeing their dicks dude.

I did play the recent event and idk maybe the worst it got is a character making a slightly suggestive noise when you touch them in *certain* places but its really mild. Maybe I’ll keep playing later to see if anything major happens but I doubt it. Its not something I’d expect from a game thats labeled “13+” but its not the worst I’ve seen. I think a game having micro transactions alone should raise the rating. I’m just glad I’m not in that fandom b/c that shits gotta be UNBEARABLE. Even when the fandom is actually 18+ you’d be blocking kids constantly. I’d say drop the teen rating and go all tf out but I guess thats a lot less marketable. The game made a bajillion momillion dollars and it wouldn’t have happened if it was straight up nsfw.
**Quick edit** Apparently someone just showed me that this game actually gets REALLY nsfw– Didn’t see dick or anything but it was pretty suggestive and this game is NOT “13+” *at all* holy shit. Apparently its 18+ in China but they lowered the rating so that the game could be downloaded worldwide? Idk this is flying too close to the sun for me.

Anyway my fav character is Sylus and according to the fanbase theres not a lot of content made for him in the game? It sounds weird because they made a character that looks like *that* but then didn’t do anything with it. Maybe he’s not that popular after all idk. I guess people prefer normal black haired guys. I would legit ship Lyn with him b/c that’d be funny as shit and I need amusement rn.

Now about the period tracker. I mean, its a period tracker whatever. Were guys threatened because a game character offering sympathy when the player was on their period was too high a standard to meet? I also think its the bullshit attitude you get when you’re used to *everything* a woman does being sexual. Theres people that can’t imagine any other reason to track your cycle besides fetish. Overall there was no reason for people to be saying half the batshit things they were saying about this game. Personally, I think that in the year 2025 people will get pissy when women realize that relationships can be mutually beneficial even through fiction. Because lets be honest here, half those fuckers wouldn’t bat an eye if they saw someone preaching more trad shit.
