We still don’t have Valko and there hasn’t been much acknowledgment of the situation ether. The boycott is crazy too. Even a myth for one of the popular characters won’t raise the revenue to what it used to be. Genuinely the Rafayel 4th myth fucking FLOPPED hard. So Infold/PPG are just trying to carry on like nothings happening. They’ve since had a big merch drop that completely omits Valko. There was this box of Xavier merch that came with a handwritten letter that wanted to get but even if we weren’t boycotting, it will take a year to get to me and I can’t say I’ll be that in to the game by the time it arrives. That’s the thing with infold games: never assume you’ll be into it a year later. This company is known for fucking things up time after time.

So there’s a rumor going around that infold is going to just unceremoniously drop a Valko solo card sometime in September. Gotta remind everyone to take these rumors with a massive grain of salt as there are a lot of jackasses that just want to upset people. On the other hand this would be the fuckshit infold does. I won’t believe anything until I see it in the game. Honestly if there no Valko by the end of the year I might call it quits on this game.

It’s not just about the character (Im a Xavier main and still planned to be after Valko dropped), it’s about the disrespect. It’s about how this company has repeatedly catered to the most mean spirited/bullying/racist/misogynistic half of this fandom at the expense of everyone else. You cant cater to every demographic. At some point point, you really need to pick a side and once again they decide to welcome the people that make the fandom worse for everyone. That side of the fandom will only keep getting more emboldened and it’s certainly going to chase off current players and new ones. They can keep on like this but this game will eventually become just as niche as their other otome game where the exact same thing happened. What other otome game? Exactly…
